National Anthem Performance

Amber Stephens was born and raised in Waco and has enjoyed using her vocal talent in many ways. In the late 90’s and early 2000’s, she won several local talent shows, sang at Cattle Baron’s Balls across Texas, spent time in Nashville working with management teams and artists such as John Michael Montgomery, Ricochet, and Montgomery Gentry. More recently, she spends her time raising her 15 year old daughter, working as an instructor at Heart of Texas Therapeutic Riding Center in West and singing whenever the opportunity arises. Whether it’s leading worship at church, rocking the karaoke stage with friends, being the song-bird for friend’s and family weddings or blessing families who’ve lost a loved one at funerals, she finds so much joy in being able to share her gift with others as a fun hobby. Her signature & favorite performance has become singing the National Anthem. She sang at the NASCAR race in Ft Worth at Texas Motor Speedway, several Lady Baylor Bear basketball games, Baylor baseball and softball games, Little League Regional games, and Special Olympic Equestrian Games. She has also sang it at several local charity / non-profit events such as HEB’s Annual Food for Families and NeighborWorks Waco’s Annual Community Breakfast Banquet. She is excited to be singing it again for McGregor Founders Day!
